I generate entertaining story pitches and ethical shooting plans by integrating insight from expert interviews with my own exhaustive research into academic and primary sources. I organize all this information into easy-to-read systems designed for full team clarity. 

I am motivated to capture the impossible and constantly learn how to execute bold creative styles. I prepare various equipment and support its operators. On set I closely track story beats, dialogue, and pertinent changes in local conditions.    

I bring intense attention to detail on location scouts, during casting, while assessing legal & labor requirements, and preparing sets, wardrobe, and SFX. I execute on daring ideas and stay under budget, all the while adjust to unprecedented changes in biodiversity, human health, and climate conditions.

I am comfortable responding to emergencies and have experience shooting fire, extreme weather, difficult births, and sudden deaths. I confront crises with calm, first assessing my surroundings and team needs, then confidently documenting the intense and fleeting action.

Working with my team, I adjust filming strategies per emerging themes, tonal changes, or forthcoming conflict. I direct actors, adjust framings, and manipulate lighting, sound, and speed to capture stories ranging from light-hearted to tragic.
